Padeloo is a mobile application that allows users to book padel courts, find opponents, and follow padel club news. The application is operated by Padeloo ("we", "us", "our").

2. What Data We Collect
Data you provide directly
- Account data: full name, email address, phone number (verified via SMS code).
- Profile data: gender, city, dominant hand, court side preference, skill level, profile picture (optional).
- Booking data: selected club, court, date and time, duration, player names in the match.
- Communications: messages you send us through support.
Data we collect automatically
- Device data: platform (iOS/Android), Expo push token (for sending notifications).
- Location data: the city you manually select in the app. We do not collect GPS location.
- Log data: IP address, access date and time, application errors.
Data from third parties
- Google Sign-In: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Creating and managing your account.
- Processing bookings and sending confirmations.
- Sending push notifications about bookings and activities (with your consent).
- Displaying player information (name, skill level, phone number) to other match participants.
- Improving app functionality and user experience.
- Communicating with you regarding the service.
- Preventing abuse and ensuring platform security.
- Fulfilling legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
- Performance of contract: processing bookings, account management.
- Legitimate interest: platform security, fraud prevention.
- Consent: push notifications, marketing communications (you can withdraw at any time).
- Legal obligation: data retention required by law.
5. Sharing Data with Third Parties
We do not sell your data. We may share data with:
- Padel clubs: your name and booking details necessary to confirm your reservation.
- Other players: your name, phone number, skill level, and profile picture are visible to participants in the same match.
- Service providers: hosting providers, notification delivery services.
- Google: if you use Google Sign-In, you are also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Authorities: when required by law.
All service providers are contractually bound to protect data in accordance with GDPR standards.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. Booking data is retained for 5 years for legal compliance. After account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days, except for data we are required to retain by law.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"). You can delete your account directly in the app.
- Data portability in a machine-readable format.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect prior processing).

8. Data Security
We apply industry-standard security measures: encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS), secure storage of authentication tokens on device, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews.
9. Children
Our services are not intended for persons under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will promptly delete it.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
